HI, to all those who love House music.. I've been a DJ for over 20 years. Those who turned me on to the game: Eric (Brisco) Cohen (Mark IV), My Phi Beta Sigma Frat. Bro Mike Burgess,DJ Burt (Club 88) who gave me my first shot to play at a club. Naeem Johnson (loved his mixes on WBLS). I really started to understand house after listening to "Larry Levan", Naeem Johnson, Tony Humphries, Jahid Muhammad. Other favorite DJ's are "Will G", Joe Cassuell & Danny Krivit (Body & Soul), DJ V-Free(Random Access), DJ Tony Motley,DJ T-Alford (Funky People), Thanks to the Gil & Gil DJ & MC Crew (Will 'G', Shraiff,Naeem, D-Real, Jess, T-Bass,Charles,MC Tee,MC G-Man, MC Felicia,MC Eric, MC Lauren,MC Nae'). I own a DJ business here in NJ (www.djgil-ent.com). I have also been the resident DJ for the "American Black Film Festival" for the past 11 years. Thanks Jeff Friday..
